AI team · Autonomous work

The work that is already done when you open the laptop.

Every routine runs under an agent’s name, with its hour, its instruction and its scope. At 08:00 the briefing is written; at 09:30 the follow-ups have already gone out.

None of these lines depends on somebody remembering on Monday.

WONDA’s autonomous work is the scheduler that decides when each agent clocks in. A scheduled task has a name, a responsible agent, an instruction, a working scope and a schedule that can be one-off, repeated at a set hour on set weekdays, or every N minutes. Every run leaves its result and its full output in the history, and the task can be paused, edited or run by hand at any time.

01What it solves

Nobody remembers what has no hour.

The routine that holds an operation together is exactly the one that falls over the week everything gets busy.

Job 01 · Cadence

What gets done “when there’s time” doesn’t get done.

The pipeline sweep, the end-of-day summary, the follow-up prep, the competitor watch. All of it survives while the month is calm and vanishes the week things get busy. Here every routine has an hour and an owner, and competes with urgency from a better place. It runs the same on a Tuesday as on 23 December.

The 08:00 briefing gets written between 05:40 and 06:10. Nobody watches it happen.
Job 02 · Templates

Fourteen routines we already know work.

Morning briefing, end-of-day summary, follow-up prep, inbox triage, competitor watch, trending topics, opportunity radar, pipeline health, weekly review, customer feedback digest, activity summary, financial status report, blocker finder and project status report. Each arrives with its instruction and its schedule already filled in. Pick the agent and save.

Job 03 · Accountability

An automation that fails silently is worse than none.

Every run stays in the history with its result and the agent’s full output, not a two-line summary. If a task starts failing, you see it in the list itself before anyone notices from the client side. What ran, what failed and since when.

The full output is kept, not a two-line summary.
Job 04 · Scope

Tools and model, per task

Each task decides what it gets into — CRM, inbox, mail, calendar, finance, web search, documents —, which skills it uses and which model it runs on. What it doesn’t need, it doesn’t touch, and that is a security measure too.

Job 05 · Destination

The output, where the team is already looking

A task can log its output into a team conversation, so the overnight work shows up in the thread where it will be used instead of a panel somebody has to go find.

02The difference

Who does what, from day 1.

This isn’t a feature you learn to use: it’s work that stops being yours, with an explicit split of responsibilities.

Split of responsibilities · Autonomous workIn force from day 1 of operation
The agent

Runs and reports

  • Executes the instruction at the agreed hour, unprompted
  • Leaves the full output in the task history
  • Marks its own run as successful or failed
  • Logs the result into the conversation when asked to
Your team

Reads and decides

  • Opens the morning briefing and decides from it
  • Pauses what no longer helps and asks for what’s missing
  • Corrects the instruction when the output isn’t useful
  • Runs a task by hand when it’s needed ahead of schedule
The WONDA team

Schedules and watches

  • Turns the business routine into a task with an hour and a scope
  • Reviews the week’s failures and fixes the cause
  • Adjusts cadences when the business rhythm changes
  • Retires what stopped being read: a dead routine is noise
03What it works with

A task with no agent doesn’t run.

These are the modules that back it up most, and the channels the work goes out through.

The numbers of a real operation.

11-person operation · 3 areas

Seven routines with an hour, and the morning stopped starting blind.

The pipeline review happened “on Mondays”, which in practice meant the Monday without a closing. Seven tasks were scheduled: briefing at 08:00 Monday to Friday, inbox triage every four hours, pipeline health on Mondays at 10:00 and four more. The first week surfaced two deals stalled since March.

Frequently asked

What people ask about autonomous work.

How is this different from ordinary automation?

Classic automation reacts to a trigger and runs fixed steps. Here a task gives an agent an instruction written in plain language and an hour; the agent decides how to fulfil it with the tools it has, and leaves the output in writing so you can judge it.

How often can a task run?

It can run once, repeat at a set hour on the days you choose, or run every N minutes. The most common cadence in the operations we run is every four hours for monitoring and once a day for reports.

What happens if a task fails?

It’s marked as failed in the list, with the attempt’s output in the history. It doesn’t retry in a loop and it doesn’t hide. The WONDA team reviews the week’s failures and fixes the cause: it’s almost always an ambiguous instruction or a missing permission.

Can I stop everything if I’m going on holiday?

Each task pauses separately with a toggle and keeps its setup. When you switch it back on it returns to its schedule with nothing to rebuild.

Does every run consume something?

Yes: each run is real agent work and uses its budget. That’s why cadences get adjusted at the monthly review and routines nobody reads get retired.

What falls off your week when the week gets busy?

The diagnostic lists the routines that today depend on somebody remembering, and gives them an hour, an owner and a verifiable output.
