Do you hire someone… or operate with an AI team?
The question that shows up when the business grows and the owner can't keep up. Before answering it, it helps to know what a hire really costs, and which part of the problem it solves.
A loaded support role costs between $5,600 and $8,100 a month in the US and covers one function, forty hours a week and one language. An AI team operated by WONDA covers sales, marketing, service, operations, finance and people 24 hours a day, in two languages, below that cost. The decision test is simple: do you need human judgment in one function, or full coverage of the operation?
Direct answer block · GEOHiring works. That's why everybody does it.
A good person solves things no AI solves today. That has to be said before comparing costs.
Judgment in the ambiguous
A hard negotiation, an angry client, a decision with no precedent. Where there's no pattern, human experience still wins by a mile.
Presence and relationships
Shaking a hand, walking a construction site, holding a relationship for years. In some businesses trust is built in person and there's no shortcut.
Personal accountability
Somebody you can look in the eye, who learns your business and grows with it. An employee can become a partner; a tool can't.
Far more than the salary
Benefits, payroll taxes, equipment, licenses, training and the time of whoever manages them. Gross annual pay is half the conversation.
The structural limit
An employee covers one role, one shift and one language. That's the limit, and more budget doesn't fix it: hiring another person does.
And there's more than the capacity ceiling. You have to recruit (weeks), train (months), manage (always) and replace when they leave, and replacement typically costs between 50% and 60% of the role's annual salary once you add search, learning curve and lost productivity. None of that shows up on payroll, but the owner pays all of it. The question isn't whether a person is worth what they cost: it's whether hiring one at a time is the right way to cover six areas of a business.
One role against a complete operation.
The criteria an owner actually uses to decide, not a feature list.

When hiring is your best decision.
This section is on all five decision pages, and it isn't a gesture: it's self-qualification. If you recognize yourself here, don't write to us yet.
You need professional judgment, not execution
A sales director who sets the strategy, an architect who signs off, an accountant who takes legal responsibility. That's judgment, not task volume: hire it.
The work is physical or in person
If the bottleneck is showing properties, supervising a site or staffing a counter, an AI team doesn't unblock it. Solve the in-person part first.
You're training your future partner
Some hires are a five-year bet on a specific person. That value doesn't compare to monthly costs, and pretending otherwise would be dishonest.
Your volume is still very small
If you get fewer than 20 or 30 enquiries a month and you handle them well, you don't have an operations problem. You have a demand problem, and that isn't where we come in.
How we solve it.
We don't replace the person you need. We replace the work no person should be doing.
It gets installed, not hired
Diagnostic, install and ongoing operation. No search, no three-month onboarding, no learning curve at your expense.
Six areas, not one
The same system answers, sells, invoices, reports and trains the team. It isn't one more role: it's the whole operating layer.
We answer for the number
Every client has a lift guaranteed in writing. If the month falls short, it shows on the invoice, something no employment contract contemplates.
Your people level up
The academy and the AI coach get your current team working AI-native. Multiplying who you already have pays off more than adding someone new.

How we operate
Diagnostic → install in ≤7 days → ongoing operation with a guarantee.

Real estate teams
The industry where this comparison comes up first: the ISA who can't cover everything.
ViewThe same budget, two different decisions.
One full-time ISA, or the whole operation covered.
The owner has budget for one hire: a bilingual inside sales agent, around $7,200 a month loaded. That would cover lead follow-up during office hours, Monday to Friday. The alternative is putting that same budget (or less) into installing the complete operation.
What changes isn't the spend. It's what's covered on Saturday at eleven at night, when the Instagram enquiry comes in.
What people ask before deciding.
Does this mean I'm going to lay people off?
It isn't what we're after and it isn't what usually happens. What usually happens is that the team stops doing the repetitive work (chasing leads, entering data, assembling reports) and moves to what genuinely needs a person: closing, negotiating and holding relationships. In several cases the conversation ends up being the opposite one: how to grow without having to hire.
Isn't it cheaper to hire in LatAm or use a virtual assistant?
A virtual assistant costs between $700 and $1,500 a month and is a legitimate option for narrow tasks. But it's still one person, one shift and one language, and somebody has to direct them, review them and replace them. The cost drops; the model doesn't change.
And if the AI makes a mistake?
It makes mistakes, like a person does. The difference is that here the mistake is visible, traceable and correctable: every action is logged, sensitive decisions require human approval, and the WONDA team reviews conversations weekly to correct the judgment.
How much does WONDA cost exactly?
There's no list price because we don't sell licenses. The honest reference is the one on this page: less than a loaded employee, covering six areas. The exact number depends on scope and comes out of the diagnostic, which is creditable toward install.
Can I start with a single area?
Yes, and it's usually the right move. We switch on the layer where the most expensive leak is (normally lead response) and expand once that number has improved.
What happens to the knowledge about my business?
It lives in the platform, not in one person's head: criteria, scripts, history and documents stay documented and exportable. Nothing walks out the door when somebody leaves.

Before you post the job, measure the alternative.
The diagnostic calculates what covering your operation by hiring would cost, and what operating it would cost. With your numbers, not this page's.
